Book Projects
I have always found the practice of telling stories visually to be an immensely appealing project. Below are some of the projects I’ve worked on, for both scholastic and personal reasons.
A New Home
Made for an SVA class on designing children’s book, this story follows a hermit crab as he seeks a new shell for himself to call home.
Fairy Tales
Picking up and continuing the idea of my high school Art project (see below), I continued to make one-off illustrated pages for fairy tales I still thought about and was fascinated by.
This one features a moment from the story “Peau d’Âne”, or “Donkey Skin,” a Charles Perrault story where a princess must go in hiding from her incestuous father by wearing a magical donkey’s skin.
10 Illustrated Ballads and Folktales
A project I worked on my senior year of high school for my Baccalaureat Art Test, 10 Illustrated Ballads and Folktales is an illustrated series of stories that I illustrated, laid out, and produced. Most of the stories were a bit grim as that was very much my wheelhouse at the time.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
